Guide Import and go

Your quiz, in Rally,
in under a minute.

Paste a link, press Host, read the code out. That is the whole job.

Before you start

Sign in once

  1. Press Teacher sign in at the top of this page, or use your district's own sign-in page if it gave you one.
  2. In Rally, go to Sets and press Import. Every way in below starts there.
From Kahoot

Paste the link

  1. Open your kahoot and copy the address from the top of the browser. It looks like create.kahoot.it/details/…
  2. Paste it into the box on Rally's Import page. It starts by itself.
  3. Press Host it now.

It says the kahoot is private? In Kahoot, open it, choose Edit, then Settings, set Visibility to Everyone and save. Paste the link again, then switch it back.

Have it as a spreadsheet? Drop the Kahoot spreadsheet (.xlsx) onto the Import page instead.

From Blooket

One extra step

Blooket does not let other sites read sets, so your own browser copies it for you.

  1. Paste the Blooket link into Rally's Import page.
  2. Drag the Grab Blooket set button Rally shows you to your bookmarks bar. You only do this once.
  3. Open your set on dashboard.blooket.com and click that bookmark. It copies the set.
  4. Come back, paste into the box Rally shows you, and press Import what I pasted.

Have a Blooket CSV export? Drop the file onto the Import page instead.

From another teacher

Open their share link

  1. Open the link they sent you (it looks like sbslink.xyz/q/…).
  2. Press Save to my sets. Or paste the same link into the Import page.

Sharing yours? In Sets, press Share on a set and send the link to colleagues. It shows the answers, so never send it to a class.

Play it

Host, then read the code out

  1. Press Host on a set, pick a mode, press Open the room. The defaults are fine.
  2. Students go to the address on your screen (or scan the QR code) and type the code. No accounts, no email.
  3. Press Start the game when they are in. The report afterwards shows which questions the class missed most.
Good to know

What comes across

  • Multiple choice and true or false questions, with their timings and up to 20 pictures per import.
  • Slides, polls, word clouds, puzzles and typed answers stay behind. Rally tells you how many.
  • Up to 200 questions per set. Your file is read and thrown away; only the questions are kept.
  • Need it in Canvas? Press To Canvas on any set.
